1. My best shot is the first one. The positioning and the black and white colors make the picture seem eerie and creepy. The two people in the picture really look like they're both one scary monster thing.
2. My weakest shot is the second one. I didn't really like the position I was in when I took it, since it was taken from the side. The colors are fine, but it just looks blurry, in my opinion (but others can disagree, I don't know).
3. My weakest shot can be improved if I just moved to a front view so it doesn't look slanted and the angle wouldn't look so "off."
4. I used Photoshop to edit my shots. I used the hue/saturation tool and the levels tools.
5. I was able to meet the objectives of this assignment by taking over 30 pictures, posting 2 of my best shots, and using backlighting to my advantage to make creepy photos.
6. What was easy was the editing. I enjoy editing my photos I take outside of school and making them black and white, so I already knew how to do so. I also already am aware of how to work the hue/saturation, since I've done it multiple times before I took this class in general.
7. What was difficult was getting the right backlighting to make it look good. I'm very picky with lighting, so I was difficult to find good lighting at home. So, I just stuck with what I had in class.
8. If I could do this assignment again, I would try to find better ways to get lighting using my resources at home better. I felt like I just gave up doing it at home because I act like a perfectionist all the time. I need to get out of that habit.
9. On a scale of 1-10, I would give this a solid 6. Although it came out decent when I edited my shots, I felt like I didn't put as much effort in it like in my texture project. I just wanted to take whatever shots I could and stick to them. I didn't really care as much and I think that was my downfall in this project.

Do Now- Ansel Adams
Ansel Adam does landscape photography. He probably brings out the textures of objects by editing and using different angles. In my opinion, I'm a sucker for landscapes in photography, so I absolutely adore the photos. I love how there's only black and white in the photos and how the textures really pop out to me. It's really beautiful shots, honestly. This person is really talented in what they do and I can tell he has a lot of passion for it. It seems like he puts a lot of hard work into what he does.

Reflection Questions (Texture)
1. My strongest work, I believe, is the picture of the apple. The vibrant colors, along with how the lighting really makes the apple seem smooth, really makes the image pop.
2. My weakest work is the picture of the leaf. Compared to the other two, the lighting wasn't really the best. It made the image look a bit fuzzy, in my opinion.
3. My weakest image can be improved if I moved around more so the lighting could look better at different angles.
4. I used Photoshop to edit. The tools I used was levels, hue & saturation, and color balance.
5. By enhancing the light source, I believe I was able to enhance the texture. For all of my photos, the lighting source was placed on the right side of them.
6. What was easy was editing the pictures. Right now, it feels like second nature to make the pictures more vibrant and to make them stand out more.
7. What was difficult was to position myself to get close to the objects. Since I'm not that tall, it was difficult to get to the apple, and it did hurt my back a bit to bend down for the leaf.
8. If I could do this assignment again, I would change my angles more than once for each object I took a picture of so I would have more variety.
9. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate my efforts an 8. I think I tried to get the best images I could get more than on the composition project. Especially when I went apple picking. I had more time to focus on the details instead of just worrying about getting a picture.

Texture Project
The texture is smooth for both the apple and the leaves. For the leaves, some parts can be rough.
The texture is rough and pretty flaky with the bark shown in the picture.
The texture of this image is smoothness and roughness on both sides of the leaves on the plant.
